Ingredients
2 ¼ cups (200g) rolled oats
½ -1 cup rolled bran
½ cup wheat-germ
½ cup sunflower seeds
½ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup slivered almonds
½ cup hazelnuts
½ cup maple syrup
½ cup honey
Optional- your choice of dried fruit
¼ cup dried figs, (try and get the Persian) or dates
¼ cup dried apricots, chopped
¼ cup raisins or sultanas
¼ cup chopped crystalised ginger
Directions
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Place oats, sunflower and pumpkin seeds and nuts in a large baking dish. Bake, shaking the pan occasionally for 15 minutes. Allow to cool
Toss through the bran, wheat-germ and dried fruit and serve topped with fresh fruit and Soy yoghurt.
Hint: Alternatively you could dilute with honey with a bit of 100% orange or pineapple juice.
